Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy de-Domme, France on August 9, 1976. She is the fourth child in the family. Her parents who were dental surgeons and teacher recognized and supported her interest in the theatre and dramatic arts since her early years, which was more important than a desire to be a primatologist due to her passion for monkeys. Her meteoric rise as a young actress quickly and was accompanied by her early successes. When she graduated in 1998, her degree she was invited to participate in Jeunes Premiers which is the French television talent-scouting program that was sponsored by Canal+. She also was awarded the top Young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors. It was this that led her to begin her professional acting career. While she attended The Institut Catholique de Paris and attended church in her youth Tautou has distanced herself from her Catholic upbringing by stating that she's not Catholic. As well as her acting profession she tried her hand at modeling. She is also the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is sometimes referred to as the Chanel Muse. Photography is also her love of hers and she has been exhibiting her work at the Arles festival with the title Superficial. Through her photos, she focuses a lot on celebrities and fame. The camera's focus is to journalists, who have sat and watched the actress following her sudden triumph. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and fame with her starring role in Le Fabuleux in the film d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie received international acclai box commercial success, and received acclaim in awards shows across the globe. It's still the top grossing French language film to be released in the US. After this film's success, Tautou appeared in an array of films from British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles, and then he moved into Hollywood through Ron Howard's direction of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
